Deadlines for 2025/2026 Winter Session Term Exchanges
When you apply to the CIE exchange program, you will be applying through Go Global Gateway, the online application program.
You are required to write one Statement of Interest and complete one CIE Study Plan for your top institution choice. Your CIE Study Plan must be signed by both your campus CIE Advisor and your Program Advisor. If you are a UBCO student, you are only required to get an approval from your CIE Advisor.

- Ensure to include at least 50% pre-mapped courses in your CIE Study Plan
- Discuss your CIE Study Plan with your campus CIE Advisor and Program Advisor to clarify how the transfer credits you earn abroad will apply to your UBC degree, and how your plan fits with your degree progression.
