Build an impressive resume while gaining new skills and cultivating a professional network. Students will have access to a variety of job opportunities, some of which are only available to co-op students. Relevant work experience will help launch your career and give you an edge in the competitive job market. Available only for MEng students.

Participate in the UBC Faculty of Applied Science Graduate Engineering Mentoring Program and explore the unique opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain valuable skills – such as interviewing and professional communication skills – while expanding your knowledge about engineering professions.

The Graduate Pathways to Success (Pathways) program is a palette of non-credit workshops, seminars and other activities designed to complement your graduate program's academic curriculum and mentorship experience. Pathways covers a range of personal and professional development topics to teach some of the skills needed to thrive as professionals.

The Pathways to Professorship (P2P) program is designed to prepare PhD students for the rigors of applying to, and holding, an academic position. This 12-session program will allow students to gain exposure to the requirements and responsibilities of being a professor.
