Professional Activity Fund

PAF Homepage

The Professional Activities Fund (PAF) supports undergraduate Professional Development.  This includes extra-curricular projects and activities including prototyping, competitions, and conferences. The intended purpose of the projects and activities is to enhance experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate engineering students.

2024-25 PAF Application Deadlines: 

There are two main categories of PAF Funding:

  1. Projects & Activities: 1 funding cycle per term.

    2024 Winter Term 1- Applications are due Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Decisions will start being communicated on November 6, 2024.

    2025 Winter Term 2- Applications are due Friday, February 21, 2025. Decisions will start being communicated on March 7, 2025.

  2. Travel & Conferences: monthly funding cycles.

  • Applications are due Sunday, July 28, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, August 9.
  • Applications are due Sunday, September 29, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, October 11. 
  • Applications are due Sunday, October 20, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, November 1
  • Applications are due Sunday, November 17, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, November 29.
  • Applications are due Sunday, January 19, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, January 31.
  • Applications are due Sunday, February 16, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, February 28.
  • Applications are due Sunday, March 16, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, March 28.
  • Applications are due Sunday, April 6, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, April 18.
  • Applications are due Sunday, May 11, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, May 23.
  • Applications are due Sunday, June 8, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, June 20.
  • Applications are due Sunday, July 6, 11:59 pm PT.
    Decisions will start being communicated on Friday, July 18.

Students will receive a confirmation email, once the PAF Application is submitted. 

Applicants will be updated once a decision is made.
