Now in its second year, the Engineering Career Peer Coaches Program (ECPC) is available to provide career assistance to all Engineering students within the faculty. Peer coaches have completed a number of paid work experiences within industry and have in-depth knowledge about navigating the recruitment and application processes. They can also offer the tips and tricks that helped them in their individual circumstances to secure a job.
What can a Career Peer Coach help you with?
- Strategies for approaching and navigating the job search
- Reviewing your resume and cover letter
- Interview preparation and practice, i.e., mock interview
- Review of networking strategies and opportunities
- Exploring UBC career resources

The 2023-24 Engineering Career Peer Coaches Program are open for one-on-one appointments beginning October 3rd.

- Navigate to Tab: ‘Academic Advising – Vancouver’ > ‘Appointments with Peer Coaches’
- Book by Appointment Type, then select available date and time.
