Elin Lee

Hi, I am Elin, and nice to meet you all! I am a final-year Biomedical Engineering student with 16 months of co-op experience plus a 4-month international exchange term (Coordinated International Experience, CIE). Over the course of my co-ops, I took a deliberately non-traditional path while working across different roles and industries at Berlinguette Research Group (UBC), Kardium, and Tesla as a Mechatronics Research Assistant, Electrical Testing Engineering Intern, and Engineering Program Manager & Safety Performance Engineer Intern, respectively.

Because I have navigated that kind of variety myself, I am well-positioned to help if you are looking to pivot into a different field from your previous role. No matter your field of interest (including biomedical, electrical, mechanical, or technical program management), feel free to book an appointment with me. Saudah Gazi

Hi! I’m Saudah Gazi, a fourth-year Civil Engineering student. I’ve completed co-op terms at YVR and Tesla, where I worked across multiple fields including aviation infrastructure management, manufacturing tool install, mechanical design, and robotics manufacturing. My last 3 co-op terms were quite different than my academic background, and I had excellent opportunities to learn about a brand new field in a fast paced, hands-on setting. Outside of classes and co-op, I have previously been an Undergraduate Research Assistant as well as a TA for first-year engineering classes. 

I believe that having a genuine interest in both applying oneself and learning new skills can bring unexpected new opportunities and knowledge, and I look forward to supporting other APSC students in their co-op journeys. Whether it is resume or cover letter support, interview preparation, or discussing co-op application strategies, I am excited to help!
