Meet Your 2025-26 Peer Coaches!

Bhavya Handa

Hi, I’m Bhavya Handa, a fourth-year Manufacturing Engineering student. I’ve completed co-op terms at Kardium Inc., Honda Canada, and Dometic Marine, where I focused on process optimization and manufacturing design. Outside of class, I’ve led teams through UBC Design League and UBC Shooting Sports, where I enjoy creating welcoming, hands-on learning spaces. I’m excited to help students strengthen their resumes, practice interviews, and build confidence in their career journey.

Kajal Mishra

Hi! I’m Kajal, a final-year Environmental Engineering student. I’ve completed 12 months of co-op terms and internships across three companies, working in various remote, field, and office roles across engineering consulting and corporate sustainability.

My experiences include coordinating environmental impact assessments, quantifying and reporting industrial emissions, monitoring underwater noise and water quality, and developing decarbonization/ESG strategies. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries, including software development, clean energy, pulp and paper, retail, mining, and oil and gas.

I’m excited to support other APSC students in exploring their co-op opportunities – feel free to book an appointment! :)
