Our mission is to launch our members’ careers, revolutionise amateur rocketry and expand the boundaries of Canadian aerospace. | UBC Mars Colony is dedicated to designing and manufacturing aspects of a habitat that can withstand the challenges of the Martian environment. |

They solve real world problems faced in search-and-rescue, law enforcement, mining, forestry, medical delivery, and more. | Thunderbird Aerospace aims to inspire a new generation of Indigenous innovators by designing and launching suborbital rockets. We are a cross-cultural team at the forefront of aerospace and reconciliation. Our members use advanced manufacturing methods and software to innovate at an unprecedented pace. |

Formula Electricis dedicated to designing and constructing a hands-on, high-performance electric race car to prove that sustainability can be competitive and exciting. | Formula UBCdesigns, builds, test and races a new single-seat race car each year to be competitive against 120 top teams from around the world. Their group works year-round to incorporate engineering learning from a wide variety of disciplines into producing an FSAE car capable of competing at FSAE Michigan-IC, the highest level of FSAE competition in North America. | UBC Supermileageis dedicated to the design and fabrication of ultra fuel-efficient vehicles. |

The team will brew beer, collect data in the fermentation phase, provide quality control on the finished product, as well as analyze and model the data using machine learning. |

For those of you who are wondering, yes! It floats! | UBC Concrete Toboggan’s mission is to design and build a toboggan to compete at our annual competition, the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR). |

UBC Launch Padis a student team focused on annually developing a web or mobile application. They wish to create a space for UBC students to meet other tech enthusiasts, build projects in a team setting, gain experience with professional development tools and principles, and share their knowledge with others. | UBC Rapidis designing rapid prototyping machines, also known as 3D printers. They aim to make 3D Printing and CAD modelling more accessible and expanding their limits to the extreme. |

UBC Thunderbotsis an engineering student design team that designs and creates competitive robots to compete in the Small Size League of the international Robocup Federation. Our aim is to use the publicly appealing platform of robot soccer to generate interest and enthusiasm for robotics within the UBC and BC communities. | UBC Open Roboticsaims to increase robotics knowledge through free training, online resources, and public demonstrations. Their motto is "Automation, Innovation, and Mentorship". | UBC Roverresearches and designs autonomous vehicles with a current focus on building a semi-autonomous Mars rover for competition in the International Canadian Rover Challenge. Their group provides students with learning opportunities in space exploration, soil analysis, robotics, motorized vehicles, and autonomous systems. |

Canadian Indigenous Science & Engineering (.caISES)
UBC .caISES, a member of the nearly 200 AISES chapters, provides Indigenous post-secondary STEM students and Indigenous STEM professionals the chance to network, serve the community, and engage in professional development opportunities both in the Lower Mainland and throughout North America.

ACCEPT
The Association of Chinese Canadian Professionals and Technologists (ACCEPT) advocate for the engineering profession to Chinese Canadians, to grow a network among Chinese Canadian engineering professionals and technologists, to provide assistance to skilled new immigrants working in the industry.

Women in Engineering (WiE)
WiE is an organization who advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion in engineering. It was created by faculty and students to promote the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in the engineering profession. WiE supports the student population through career and leadership professional development.

Gears and Queers
Gears and Queers is an LGBTQ+ engineering club dedicated to creating an open, accepting space for queer engineering students at UBC. The club strives to create a community for queer engineering students and provides a positive safe space on the UBC campus through social and professional events

NSBE
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a student and professional based organization with over 700 chapters dedicated to the development of impactful programs for increasing Black and ethnic minority participation in the fields of engineering and engineering technology.
