About the Team

We want to help the agriculture sector better meet future food demands without compromising the health of the environment or people. The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) identifies precision agriculture and pesticide reduction as key requirements to respond to climate change and food insecurity. We aim to do this by leveraging technologies like robotics, machine learning, and image recognition that have successfully transformed other industries.

Nature of Activity

• Internal - Research Publication; Prototyping;
• External - Competition; Challenge Participation;

Time Commitment

• On average, 5-10 hours/week.
• Workload for the average member is highly dependent on their goals with the team. 
• We have a strong belief that what you put into the team is what you get out leading to highly motivated members wanted to achieve their goals. 

Application Deadlines

• Currently, we recruit 2-3 times a year. 
• We recruit in September and January for all roles and recruit for administrative function related roles in May as well.
