Several different departments at UBC have Workshops available for student use. The departments with student shops include: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Integrated Engineering, and the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. The departments which may offer machining services include: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Chemistry.
